Hedge End train stations are located a few miles from Balance and Body Ltd. Direct trains run regularly from London Waterloo and Portsmouth, with links to all major cities. We are happy to pick you up and return you to the station, please arrange this with us in advance.

Please note these are 1 track country lanes so drive slowly and be prepared to let others pass.

 

Arrival

Balance and Body is suitable for all vehicles excluding coaches due to the country roads. Visitors can park within a short walking distance from the buildings. For larger events, visitors may be asked to park slightly further from the entrance. There are two designated disabled parking spaces adjacent to the main building entrance.

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.

Accessibility adjustments on this site

We have adapted this site in accordance with WCAG [2.0 / 2.1 / 2.2 - select relevant option] guidelines, and have made the site accessible to the level of [A / AA / AAA - select relevant option]. This site's contents have been adapted to work with assistive technologies, such as screen readers and keyboard use. As part of this effort, we have also [remove irrelevant information]:

Accessibility arrangements in the organisation

Building

The Balance and Body Ltd building  are fitted with tiled flooring inside and are surrounded by gravel.  The entrance ways have a large doormat flush to the floor to absorb any water when wet, and the toilet floors are stone floor. Wide side doors can be opened to assist wheelchair access. There is 1 step in or around any of the buildings.

 

Toilets

There is one accessible toilets on site.

 

The Grounds

The majority of the surfaces around Woodlands itself are uneven and sloped underfoot, which can become slippery and icy under certain weather conditions.  Balance and Body Ltd team can provide motorised transport between fields and points of interest In certain circumstances movement around the grounds nmay not be possible.

 

Biosecurity

We have a shoes off policy at the door to the healing room and Bell Tent.
